ranges and facilities
Wedgnock Rifle and Pistol Club is based at the Wedgnock Range complex
in Warwick and shares the facilities with the Muzzle Loaders
Association of Great Britain.
There are 3 ranges available 25 meters, 50 meters, and 100
meters, with a total of 130 firing points.
The ranges are open Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, and Monday
to Friday for season ticket holders.
On Saturday and Sunday the ranges can be use by non-club members who hold a Firearms Certificate by paying a modest range-fee to the range warden.
The shooting times for all firearms apart from air-rifles are 10:00 to 14:00, air-rifles can continue to shoot until the range is closed. Please take care to observe these restrictions.
During the winter period, only subsonic .22 rimfire and air-rifles can be
used on the first two Saturdays of the month.
The maximum muzzle energy of 1496 ft/lbs and maximum velocity of 2150
ft/second apply to all ranges.
.17HMR is permitted as an exception to the usual velocity limit.
Non-members such as rabbit shooters who want to zero their .17HMR rifles are welcome to come along at the weekend !
"c" range
The "C" Range is a 25 meter range with 55 covered firing points including a dedicated air-rifle section. The range has toilet facilities.
"b" range
The "B" Range is a 50 meter range with 25 covered firing points. This is a very popular range and now has 10 resetable steel knock-down targets.

"a" range
The "A" Range is a 100 meter range with 50 covered firing points.the pavillion
The Pavillion houses the range office and club house. Please sign in here when visiting the range. On weekends targets are available to purchase from the Range Warden.
