Membership Options The Wedgnock Rifle and Pistol Club offers two levels of membership allowing prospective members to choose the package that suits how they want to use the clubs facilities. In order to join the Air Pistol section, you must have at least Air Only membership with WRPC. All new membership applications are subject to a one-off
£3 administration fee. Full Membership - 1st
January to 31st December Full membership of WRPC allows you full use of the clubs facilities and the ability to use firearms up to the certification limits on our three ranges. New members are required to under-go a three month probation period prior to becoming full members of the club. Full membership is open to both FAC and non-FAC holders. As part of your probation you will be taken through a full training and safety course at the end of which, the club will sponsor your application for a Fire Arm Certificate. Details of our training course are available under the 'How to Join' menu above. If you already hold an FAC, then you will be required to attend at least one session to confirm competency and complete a mandatory black powder training day, until this is completed you will not be accepted as a full member. Full members that list WRPC as the primary club on their
FAC, are required to maintain a shooters record sheet (available in the
members area) which has to be submitted to the club each year. As a
registered club, WRPC have an obligation to report any non-shooting members. Air Only Membership £23.00 Per Annum WRPC recognises that not everybody that wants to use our ranges wants to go through the process of obtaining an FAC. Therefore, we also offer an "Air Only" membership package. Air Only members are able to use the clubs facilities to
shoot non-FAC Air Rifles and Pistols, including our Air Rifle range. New
members are required to attend a safety session with our Air Rifle training
officer before they can use the facilities. Season Ticket £85.00 Per Annum Once new members have visited the ranges a number of times, they are given the opportunity to apply for a season ticket. Season tickets run from April to March and represents excellent value for money as they are charged pro rata. Full members can repay the cost of a Season Ticket in 11 visits to the range and Air Only members in 14. Not only does this give you access to the range at weekends without having to pay a range fee but allows members to use the ranges during weekdays. |
