The 14th W.R.P.C. AGM is on Thursday 19th March 2009 at 18:00 in
the clubhouse and all members are welcome to attend. Last year saw one
of the best attendances for years. So if you have never been to an AGM
please make the effort this year. New members are particularly welcome.

air rifle competition update
8th November 2008
Following the 2 successful air rifle competitions, 4 more are being
planned for 2009 in March, May, July and September. Medals will be
awarded and there may also be a trophy. Full details will appear in the
members area next year.
In the meantime thanks to all who supported the event on 2nd November.
Results and photos will appear in December's newsletter.

We've now added a few more videos to the videos section - covering the
course of fire for the Cowboy Action competitions, the practise and

new Range rules
4th September 2008
The range rules regarding number of shooters on range before a
dedicated RO is needed have been revised, along with the number of
shooters for mid-week shooting by season ticket holders. Please see the
September 2008 newsletter in the members section for more details.

The current time to beat for all 10 targets shooting from a
bench
with a rest is 8 seconds ! See if you can best this time... The initial
suggestions are that we keep a list of 4 best times - (1) .22 shooting
from the bench, (2) .22 shooting standing, (3) center-fire from the
bench (e.g. 357 lever action, .30 carbine straight-pull), (4)
center-fire shooting standing
new knockdown targets
1st March 2008
Thanks to the volunteers who setup the new knock-down targets
on the 50
meter range ! This fun new addition to the range should provide for the
enjoyable target practise and we'll be adding some club competitions
for fastest time to knockdown all 10.
Changes to the safety certificate - what
we can shoot - .17Hmr !
1st March 2008
In other news the new range safety certificate has been
expanded to
allow .17HMR on all 3 ranges, and the 100 meter range now
allows jacketed & gas-checked bullets.
Non-members with an FAC such as rabbit shooters can come along and zero
their rimfire rifles such as .17 HMR, .22LR, .22Mag at the weekend.
